This was the beginning of the come-back. My Mars and Valves mostly. One of each X-metal. And a few O-matter pieces. Then picked up some cheap wires, and I was back in the game after that.

Got some DWP lenses for a couple of new frames.

The first frame that I've painted that I'm happy enough to show. So painted frame number 1 for Lopaka. Now to see how durable the paint job is. I give myself a 7-8 out of 10. So not bad for an amateur. A little uneven in some spots. But way better than say my first attempt. I'm using Tamiya paints right now, from my RC car days. The frame is silver. The lens is a brand new Ikon Ruby. Re-using the existing nose rubbers and icons.

Painting Valve 1.0 project number 2. This is a metallic red with polarized Ikon Chrome lenses. Tried to take my time, but I still tend to try and go too fast for my own good. Like trying to paint while it's pouring rain outside. Not good. But definitely a learning experience. Still a little uneven here and there, but getting better. I hope. Lol. And some new icons for a finishing touch. Maybe I need to redo the hub as well. We'll see. Another project that's far from perfect. Another 7-8/10 rating. But did a decent job I think because I learned a couple new things on this frame as well. It's a keeper for the durability test. Added to the work rotation.
