Mega Wide 3.0 lighting

Now I've finally managed to rig up my MDW 3.0 Cabinet I've noticed the Top lights aren't working. The Bottom shelf is illuminating fine though.

Is it a complicated procedure to sort. If so I'll probably leave it as is.

Cut the wires, remove the old one and wire in a new one.

Its a super easy task. I've had to do all mine.

Open up the top and see if you can smell burn electronics or see scorch marks on the ballast.

This is the ballast I use in my single wide mega towers.

I prefer the old school type of ballast to the new school versions where I have to do a bunch more splicing.

One piece of advice is to cut the wires off the old unit as close to the ballast as possible. Like right out of the ballast case. That way you have as much wire to play with as possible.

Match-up the wires. Below are what mine look like. Yellow to blue and red to red for the lamp wires. Then of course the hots and neutrals.

Yeah those are meant for fluorescent tube's but if you have a 4 bulb you'll need a different one. That ones for 2 tube fixtures.
