This is huge! It is the first mainstream advertising I have seen out of them. Mass respects to the surfers and BMX pros on staff but getting them worn in major races is a huge step up to getting noticed. Our days of getting numbered pairs on almost a guarantee may come to an end sooner than later. Thats good though... I want to see MEx become a top name in eyewear. The richer the company gets the more funds can go into the funky stuff of mad science as well!
This was on national TV too. It came on after I was watching football (soccer) .
the motorsports element is key. I remember seeing OTT on super bike riders way back. People love to wear what drivers (who are almost immediately cool) are wearing, Agree on the numbered pairs. That said 200 of each works too lol!
Interesting that both cars are sponsored by Whelen too? Coincidence?
