While I’ve had some time to remember everything that was said:

1) The new Medusa will look more similar to the Future Genesis one. Not an exact replica of the of the original one.

2) Sounds like MUZM might be coming to an end. Definitely nothing on the horizon for 2024, and he wasn’t sure about the future.

3) Our tour guide said the Mars MUZM was a pain in the butt. He worked specifically on the leather part of it.

4) A couple of us discussed things Oakley could do to cut down of Scalpers buying up everything.

5) One of the cool stories he had about Jim, I had heard most of the story before about Shoe one. How Jim had a hand shake agreement with Nike about not stepping into the others domain. When Nike broke that verbal agreement Jim immediately told his guys to make shoes now. Jim got the rubber for the bottom of the shoe from Goodyear tire company because he thought that would be the very best rubber. But that rubber is optimized for cars not feet. So there were issues

6) The company that made their shoes and had all the molds back in the day, turned into Crocs.

7) Any defective material used in the lens process is sometimes sold to companies that make the handles on screwdrivers, etc.

8) Lots of popular plastic frames and lenses are made at the Bunker, right behind the store wall. We got to see a lot of the machines in action.
