The purpose of this thread is to share information with other sellers out there about buyers that are not worth the trouble to sell to. For one reason or another the deal just goes bad due to the buyer either trying to get something for nothing, taking advantage of you or just plain crooked. This is meant to be educational for people that sell. I will update this thread as it warrants and other people can chime in on their personal experiences as they see fit.
Do not use street address or last names in this thread. If you want to in personal messages that is up to you.
eBay ID : aljun6292 Portland Oregon I put him on my banned list for repeatedly sending offers in the 20-25% of posted price. Item listed for $300, sends a $60 offer. Not worth my time to even read messages from this buyer. In my experience lowballers to this extent will always cause you headaches down the road.
eBay ID : toastyimage James F Rock Springs, WY This buyer purchased a pair of NOS grey wire earsocks from me. 30 days after the package was delivered he sent me a message stating the earsocks I sent him were knock offs, I was a fraud among and other things. I was out of town when I received the message and let him know I would address his issues when I got back in town the following week. He couldnt wait. Filed a claim and left slanderous negative feedback. He insisted he knew they were fake but after a few messages it was revealed he didnt even order the right ones for his application. He filed for a return, eBay granted it. He never returned the earsocks but did tell me he would change his feedback if I refunded some of his $$. Eventually eBay removed the feedback from my profile since he didnt return but also for the use of feedback extortion in a message. If you click on the feedback left for others you will see this is an angry man with nothing better to do than berate others when he doesnt get his way. BTW, no phone number on file with eBay, his address is a postal store box and no one by his name lives in the area. Personally I would put him on your blocked buyer list.
I will update list as time goes on, trust me I have more....
