What's the difference between Juliet Ducati and Juliet Carbon?

Apart from the red rubber and the etched lens, whats the difference between the Ducatis and the Carbon frames? In pictures they look the same, I cant find a real difference. Is there a different finish on the paint?

No real difference except what you mention and the packaging.

Ducati Juliets = X Metal finish
Carbon Ducati Juliets = Carbon Finish

Don't quote me on this, but i believe the X Metal finish Ducati Juliets were also serialized.

The only differences are:

Packaging
Red Rubbers
Etched Lenses
Older Versions have on Serial Numbers (DUCATIxxxx)

And they have a Carbon Finish and not an X-Metal Finish @SpliceD

You missed this one: http://www.o-review.com/database_detail_colorway.php?ID=1295&table_name=glasses

So it is X-Metal.

Also found this thread discussing it: http://www.oakleyforum.com/threads/x-metal-ducati.12795/page-2

Juliet - X Metal - Black 12-636 has arm serial DUCATI ####
- Carbon - Black 12-673 has no arm serial except pairs sold via the Japanese market
- Carbon - Black 04-159 later '09 issue in revamped box has no arm serial

Ok, so the paint finish is the same from what I understand from your comments, so I can basically take any Juliet carbon and change the rubbers for red ones and now I have a Juliet Ducati. I tough that maybe one was a shinier black than the other, but it seems like not. Thanks!

Not exactly. It's true you can take any carbon frame and put red rubbers on it to make it LOOK like a Ducati (and there's nothing wrong with that. I do custom clones myself), BUT.... you'll also need the etched lenses to be a complete clone.
